Archives For Video

I am very privileged to have been able to collaborate with Lennox White of TGIM. Lennox has been putting out devotional videos each Monday for over 3 years straight.

The video production, music, voice-overs is all Lennox, using a script I wrote. It is based on Matthew 9:36 (one of my favourite chapters in the bible):

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

I pray the video speaks to you.

WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THE CROWDS AROUND YOU? Please leave a comment below and share!

Love. Do you ever wonder about love? Do you ever really want to know what love is?
(Cue “Foreigner” power ballad chorus line…)

If we want to know love we need to know Jesus. As we get a revelation of God, so to do we get a revelation of love. Why? Because He IS love.

In Joshua chapter 7 we read of the Achan’s sin. Achan’s sin of disobedience derailed the progress of the nation of Israel into the Promised land.

But there is something else that is instructive we can take from this account.

Achan didn’t heed the Word of God, he reacted to what He saw in front of him.

How many times do we find ourselves where what we know God has spoken is not what we see around us in our circumstances? In those times we are confronted with a choice – take what we see in front of us or hold on for what we believe the God’s promise to be.

This could be in any situation. The employment you seek. The ministry breakthrough that is coming. The shift in a family relationship. The spouse you desire. The deal you are contending for. In each situation, we can settle for what the circumstance offers us or we can believe God for His word and promise to manifest!

One is immediate, but the other is eternal. Choose eternal!

This is a message I preached a few years ago and is taken from the book of 2 Chronicles 33, tracking the story of King Manasseh.

King Manasseh is likely not a bible character you know very well. But his story is one that is particularly pertinent for many people today.

This is a word of warning. The key to understanding the life of Manasseh is to understand the danger in being spiritual without Jesus. We live in spiritual world, but we also need to know that not all spirits are good, in fact there is a kingdom of light and a kingdom of darkness.

How do you know the Kingdom of darkness from the kingdom of Light? The key is Jesus.

If you are into spiritual things that does not make the life, death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ central, then chances are you are dealing in the occultic work of the Kingdom of darkness. Beware, because not all that appear light, is of the kingdom of light.

There are repercussions to involving yourself in the kingdom of darkness because it is the intent of the head of that kingdom to kill, steal and destroy your life. The good news however, is that Jesus has come that you may have life and life to the full! (John 10:10).

Listen to this message to find out why the sin of Manasseh is so serious, and how to get out of it.

God bless you!

No one want to toil through life only to find out they don’t have anything to show for all their effort. In Matthew chapter 13 we read of the parable of the sower and in it Jesus tells us the key to ensure we will receive a harvest 30, 60, 100 fold what was sown. It is something we all are responsible for, we all have power over, we all can ensure we qualify for it.

Do you know what it is? Watch this short video and find out.

Here is an edited portion of a sermon I preached a couple of years ago. I am posting it hear because it addresses a very important issue and that is how we follow the voice of the Lord.

Hearing the voice of God is a right for every Christian but if we don’t do this, who is leading us in life? When we make decisions, when we choose the direction of our life, who are we following (or what are we following) if we are not following the leading of the Holy Spirit by the voice of God?

I’d encourage you to listen to this message.

Everyone wants to change the world. But how do you even start to do that?

I believe Jesus, 2000 years ago, was ahead of the curve and gives us this simple admonition in order to change our world.
